Delta Yadah - A tale of sacrifice

The 6th edition of Delta yadah was fun packed as it saw gospel Artists from all over Nigeria come together to take part in a never before seen praise night. Minister Bob Fitts from the United States was the chief artist as he thrilled the crowd with songs which brought tears to the hearts of many who attended.

The organizer of the event Pat Uwajie-King was full of emotions as she recounted to the those in attendance on the need for prayers, she also shared

a testimony on the likelihood of the event not holding due to lack of funds, she further told the mamooth crowd how Bob Fitts approached her and asked for nothing more than his air fare and his hotel bills without asking for additional fee from her, tears went down her cheeks as she explained the power of God in making her dream a reality.

The representative of the Delta State Government also expressed joy at seeing a lot of people abandon their activities to worship God, he further stressed that it was because of the rigtheous few that Nigeria was been spared and prayed that God bless the organizers of the event while expressing gratitude to the performing artists.
He then went on to make a statement that the state was 27 years old and had enjoyed Gods unmerited love on it as it struggled to take its place in the pride of things, the statement drew attention as people quickly corrected the statement as the state was only 24 years of age, he went on to say that the state exhibited the maturity of a 27 years old while admitting his mistake he beckoned on the people present to be aware that no man is infallible and asked that they see the good in the government and one another and not look for the wrong in others, stressing that as citizens they should think of what they could do for the government and not what the government could do for them.

Those in attendance prayed that God keep them alive to witness the next edition of the annual event.
